reewrd is infamous around these parts
bilstein question....

I picked up a set of bilsteins for my 997s. They are new in the box, but I haven't received them yet. Part number is listed as F4-GA5-B560-H0...

I'm a little confused becuase I thought there were only two sets of Bilsteins for our cars, one set for non-PASM cars (which were manually adjustable), and the other set for PASM cars which had no adjustment, and just worked with the factory button...

The bilstein part number indicates what I purchased is indeed a set for my PASM car, but evidentally the shocks also have a range of 9 firmness settings, which work with the factory button? Is this correct?

Thanks for any input...

No, the PASM version has nothing to adjust. Just cables coming out of the shocks. Don't worry, you will understand when you open the box.

what he said. cable = PASM. front cables come out of the bottom part. the rear cables come out of the top. you'll find out immediately if you have the right ones or not when you look at them.
