Which "battery tender" do you like and why?

For those of you that store your car in the winter months, which "battery tender" do you like and why?

When I find my car, I will be storing it about 3 or 4 months a year.

Thanks in advance...

C-Tek. Lights to indicate what's going on. Float charging. Modes. Just do it.

Wink C-Tek

Works great. I bought mine from an eBay Shop. Works as advertised... I have mine plugged into the cigarette lighter, cracked the window a hair open so I can string the cable / lead out to the charger which is plugged into a wall socket inside the garage.

I use the Porsche Battery Maintainer. It was $60.00 and works great. I read a few people had problems with their CTEK's so I was weary of it.

I compared the CTEK 800, the CTEK 3300 and the Battery Tender Plus. I chose the CTEK Multi US 3300. $50 on ebay.

From what I've read, the Porsche Battery Maintainer is made by CTEK. Could be an internet myth though.

Black and Decker Brand

Home Depot has a Black and Decker charger / maintainer
for $20. Adjustable 1 or 2 amps. These maintainers should
all have a similar modern circuitry. Not sure if brand name
is important.

Ctek Multi XS 4003 with comfort connect cig plug.
I used it with my Z4 3.0i before and now with the 911s.
Simply perfect.

I use the smaller, lower costing battery tender. I used it on my previous summer sports car and it works great. I think the goal is to not continue charging when the battery is fully charged and that is what the battery tender does. A lot of good on their website about it. I bought mine through Amazon and there are a lot of positive reviews on Amazon.
