Wait time for service?

I've requested a service appt and some likely repairs under warranty. Will need a loaner vehicle and therefore have been waitlisted? Haven't heard back for almost 2 wks.

Just wondering how long others are waiting for servicing ..while needing a loaner vehicle?

Thx

Not 2 weeks. Depending on which car it is (BMW, Range or P Car) the wait is usually 1-3 business days. If it's an emergency (flat tire, car not starting - very rare) I just take it in. 2 weeks is crazy.

My Audi dealership was up to one week at one point, blaming it on the backlog of loaner car requests. I know every dealership has high demand for loaners, but wow - 2 weeks?!?!

With the wait actually being for the loaner car, not the service, I might eat the $30 from Enterprise to get back in the p-car.

that's why I rarely takes mine to the dealer....If anyone in the DFW area & needed service..I would recommend RAC Performance...they're top notch & Hans the man..He'll take care of you with the loaner when you arrive .99% of the time....even on short notice which happen a lot for me..lol

I'm still under warranty and I have some issues that need to be addressed.
So I need to take it to the dealer.

I think repairs will take a few days and so I need a loaner.
