C2S versus a Prius-- Funny, sorta...
Dude, I still don't get it?
I don’t post much, although I lurk around this forum a lot. Much of this forum has interesting and informative topics, this thread...not so much. I’m actually disappointed how many immature forum members there are. I don’t judge other people from what they drive, I do however judge a person’s character from the words that come out their mouth (in this case, their posts). I think people who judge other people for what they drive or how they drive are misinformed and possibly uneducated. It’s no different than racial profiling. I know people who judge people for their materialistic possession, I think people like them are shallow and I DONT want to be categorize with them because I own a Porsche. As for LambOfGod, if ur username suggest that ura Christian, then talk like one! Here’s an advice from a fellow believer, look up Luke 6:45 here’s another good one Proverbs 18:2
I still don’t get it though??? You knew the roads, you passed him in the dbl yellow because you drive a Porsche, he drives a Prius, you drive a Porsche and you still didn’t leave him in the dust? If you were my son, you’d lose ur driving privliges but I’d also throw your gun in the deepest part of the lake.
PS - i own a lot of vehicles, guns, and Bibles. I’m not anti nothing and not liberal or conservative. I am who I am.

I hope you guys don't mind if I mind if a non-Porsche owner comments here.
To the OP, can you provide more details of the Prius, like the color?
The reason I ask is because I had an interesting encounter with a Prius back in May in Northern AZ.
I was in my Honda S2000 on a nearly deserted highway when I caught up to a white Prius. I would guess it was going about 45-50 in a 65 zone. I slowed down, waited for a legal passing zone on a nice long straight, shifted down, and passed him quickly (maybe not 911 quickly though
). I probably got up to 90, then settled down to about 75. I gave him plenty of space, signaled and moved over slowly. Just to give you an idea of this road, it was several long straights connected by gentle curves, and literally in 45 minutes of driving not one car came the other direction. After a couple minutes, I see he is catching up. This is one of my huge pet peeves; drivers that decide to go significantly faster than they were before, just because someone passed them.
Pretty soon he is tailgating me. I sped up a bit, initially thinking I had slowed down, but later realized I hadn't. I find that if I go above 85 he can't keep up, but I don't want to go that fast, so I decide I'll let him pass, especially since the road will soon change to a forest area with curves and even some wet roads from snow runoff. I slow down and pull to the right to allow him to pass; visibility is still very good. But he decides to stay on my tail. The sun started to go down, his headlights are becoming very tiresome, so I pull over to a rest stop and let him be on his way.
Later, as more cars started getting on the road, I caught up to him again (without speeding), and I see several people stuck behind him trying to get around him.
So, what I gathered from this is that some Prius owners may have a chip on their shoulder. Never really had an opinion on the cars before, but maybe they feel like they are underdogs or something and they have to prove themselves.

I guess I am not surprised to learn it is legal to pull a gun on someone in AZ but I am surprised that it is thought to diffuse an escalating situation.
In the OP's defense he didn't say he pulled the gun on the Prius driver, only that he had the gun in his hand, ready to pull it should the Prius driver decide to get aggressive.
IMHO Prius owners are, by and large (i.e., not all but a vast majority), a sanctimonious lot that think they are morally superior to the rest of us. Never mind their in your face do-goodism, they want to impose their will on everyone else. Like OWSer's, carbon credit traders and others of that ilk, they have a fundamental need to want dominion over every aspect of everyone's life.
In short, they suck.

Not just Prius drivers even Insight driver are like that too. They drive like a bunch of morons. Drives too damn slow and don't like it when people pass them.
Then you add to this correct observation the fact that it took four laps around the hood until "he finally turned off" and it becomes less funny. Guess I just don't get it......or...........
