C2S versus a Prius-- Funny, sorta...
Actually, not very funny at all. You unfairly put the Prius driver is harms way so you could get "there" faster. Your choice was poor, and his was no better, only showing that bad drivers come in all colors. Ironically, you probably arrived behind schedule by pulling that j*ckass stunt.

IMHO Prius owners are, by and large (i.e., not all but a vast majority), a sanctimonious lot that think they are morally superior to the rest of us. Never mind their in your face do-goodism, they want to impose their will on everyone else. Like OWSer's, carbon credit traders and others of that ilk, they have a fundamental need to want dominion over every aspect of everyone's life.
In short, they suck.
In short, they suck.
+1
There is indeed something about a Prius in the fast lane which induces both cognitive dissonance...and the desire to reach for my Casull .454.
But then I find the stray bottle of Xanax rolling around on the floor and all is well.

I drive a Prius as a daily driver. There is one thing that I'll tell you, if you're on the left lane and see a car in your rear view mirror and they are gaining on you...whether it's a supermarket Kart or a Lambo, do everyone a favorite and get out of the way.
You have no idea how often I have to break for "faster" cars because they refuse to get out of my way. Any object traveling at 90 MPH is moving at 90 MPH, it doesn't matter what it is. The most annoying part about this situation is that a Prius doesn't have the horsepower to brake and then regain momentum easily.
Edit: ...and no, I don't carry a gun nor am I popping anti-depressants in order to live within our society. I would start tomorrow morning by taking a long look at myself and really question why I would need to carry a gun in order to feel safe...how weak are you?

C2s vs Prius-- Closure....
WOW--- I never anticipated the reaction about my encounter with a rabid Prius driver. Now that the firestorm has abated, I will explain (not defend) myself a bit more—we will probably agree to disagree on most of these topics:
1) I was not knocking Prius drivers—I just encountered one driving a bit slow for conditions. Could have been any other vehicle or slow driver.
2) I admit I probably cut him off a bit—not dangerously, but I shaved things a bit tighter than was polite and courteous. Possibly what pissed him off (other than a Porsche aggressively passing him) was I blipped my high beams to get his attention before I passed. Maybe I blinded him in his rear view mirror—those HID’s are bright. I intended to insure he was aware I was passing. I feel it is a safe practice; maybe he viewed it as me being a jerk—whatever.
3) Him parking on my bumper with his high beams on—no big deal; ok, you feel you were slighted, insulted—fine; let off steam. Call me every word in the book; tell the world my parents weren’t married, whatever. Following me around 3 TIMES through an entire housing development and back out on the highway indicated to me this person was extremely agitated, pissed off, and looking for a confrontation. And maybe one of the psychos’s that you read about in the papers all the time: “Shots exchanged between road rage participants”. If I pulled over and he yelled and cussed me out—fine. I would have even apologized—no big deal. “Sorry I cut you off, I didn’t expect the oncoming car, etc. etc. My bad”. Punch me in the face, kick my car, hurt my wife, etc—not acceptable. I’m 58 years old---my fist-fighting days are over.
4) Guns in the car—jeeez, guys, I’ve added a new topic to my list of ‘do not discuss in polite conversation’: religion, politics—and now guns. I routinely carry a weapon in my vehicle when traveling. I am certified and have a concealed carry weapons permit. I drive my Porsche though very remote regions of this country because that’s where the greatest beauty and most interesting features are—and the coolest roads. Always have, always will. I have encountered situations where I was very glad I had the means—and the will—to have the option of using lethal force to protect myself and my wife (see post elsewhere concerning the outlaw bikers encounter!). Threaten my car or house with damage, I will be upset and angry—but merely identify, remember, and report you so Law Enforcement can do their job. Threaten me or my wife’s physical safety seriously enough and I will drop you with two shots to the center of mass. End of story. I am not apologetic on this one.
5) Crossing a double yellow line and admitting it on a public forum. Well glory be; guess Homeland Security is after me now! I honestly don’t get this issue. I purchased one of the highest performance cars in the world to drive it and experience its handling, etc. Didn’t you guys? I don’t cut everyone off, don’t race anybody, and don’t pass everyone in a double yellow line situation all the time. But I DO pass when it is safe and I’m not going to stay behind a semi-truck struggling up a hill when I can see 2 miles ahead and I have 355 ponies behind me. Or follow a Prius driving 10 mph below the limit. I bought my C2S to DRIVE it—do what you wish with yours. Oh, and I guess I better not tell anybody about the 178 mph dash down I17 the other day, huh….
So anyway—that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Maybe if I grow more than two neurons to be able to rub together I’ll change. Don’t count on it…
