C2S versus a Prius-- Funny, sorta...
dude, u r the first one to call me a liberal..

i don't take other people words as truth unless they can back it up.. that's all.

btw... grow up.
The problem is you frequently don't really know what the sight distance is, because you assume you know what your sight distance is, and you can be wrong. Sure, you may be able to see 1/2 mile down the road at night. But did you notice that 150 yards up ahead on the left is a gravel driveway that enters the road from between the trees? Suddenly (unbeknownst to you, the "I know better what is safe" driver, your sight distance is really 150 yards, and you are covering 37 yards per second, giving you about 4 seconds to clear and get over if someone pulls out making a right turn (because nothing is coming from their left, so they just turn onto the highway).
I'm 41, actually. 22 years is the amount of time I've been serving in the US military. And yes, there is currently no 911 sitting in the garage. Sold my 800rwhp GT2 a few months back and my 900 rwhp 911 TT a few years ago. I admit that I probably go through cars faster than I should.
Anyway, I know you've only been here for a month or so and are apparently still trying to figure things out, so let me give you some advice: presumptuousness makes you look ignorant, and rudeness makes you look insecure. Show some respect to other members, don't attack people due to the cars that they choose to drive, stop thinking your special because you drive a base-model 911, improve your reading comprehension...and I think you'll do just fine.
Enjoy your time off.

well said........
Thank u 4 u service
It would be GREAT if people would have some sense of Humor... It will prolong your life .... trust me .. it will!!! But do let me tell you.. It DOES MATTER what car people drive ... most of the time as they typically associate themselves with the (perceived) qualities of their steed. Example : Volvo driver = safe car - no helmet needed, Prius = Ecobod doing my bit for the world - I hope, Porsche = quality, been around the block, experienced, rich, do not take **** for an answer etc... Do not need to pack heat, can evaporate opposition without the use of a teleprompter. You got the drift :-)
I agree that there's some (fascinating) correlation between the cars people drive versus their personalities, beliefs, and values. But the correlation is only partial, so we need to be careful about overgeneralizing and stereotyping, plus not everyone fits into a standard mold. We've already seen counterexamples to the stereotypes in this thread, and I can add another: when I drove a Saab (Turbo) in my early twenties, it was because the car was pretty fast and looked sporty to my eye, not because I was thinking along the lines of a Prius.

LOL... So I ALWAYS remember my (working) trips through Sweden by car... where drivers were indeed driving those Saabs and Volvo's with a helmet tightly screwed onto their head inside a sedan, pushing around at - oh perhaps 50 miles per hour ... I never understood that.. but hey... it correlated pretty nicely with their approach, mentality and lifestyle in general!! Cool no... cold cats!!
