Wrong tire size ?

I'm in the middle of changing over to winter tires and I noticed that my rear tires on my 19' Turbo wheels are 295/30/19 instead of 305/30/19. I have a 09 Targa 4. Is this a major problem? I have already driven ~5000 miles and havent noticed any problems. Thx

295/30-19 is the correct size. See my post on Rennlist.

I have both 305 and 295's for my car. No real difference.

i do the same - 305 for street, 295 for track. it's only about 6mm difference in height and not enough (% change) to upset PSM. you're fine.

You are in luck. The 10 mm less in width will mean you have less of a chance picking up nails.

305's are usually used on the 11.5" turbo rims, but 295's (used on 11" rims) work fine too.

I think the rears on the TT OEM wheel are 11 inch - at least on the 997.1

A narrower tire is an advantage in snow/ice. 10 mm may not be big but is going in the right direction.

You are fine, but you can use 305s as well. My c2s came with 295s. I replaced them with 305s and 7k miles later they have many miles left.
