Air intake for 997.1 c2s with gt3 spoiler with twin air holes
Having just purchased my first Porsche 911 (c2s, 997.1). I am considering an upgrade on the air intake. I have the gt3 aerokit fitted, with fixed spoiler and twin intake grills on the top of the rear deck. Is a decent twin intake system available, and will it boost performance. (already have performance exhaust fitted).
Thanks in advance guys!!!

I would go with the OEM X51 kit. Install some BMC filters to replace the stock paper filters and IMO it is the best way to go. It does require you to drill the other side of the trunklid so the snorkel can fit, but it was pretty easy to do.
I spent less on my "power" mods than that x51 intake costs! I got a Fabspeed intake, mufflers, tips, and ETG tune for less than $3k. I think I should go get the cats though. I need to wait till after Xmas....can't deprive the kiddies!
I think EvoMS has a good intake that shields better from the engine bay heat. In the end I just settled for a BMC filter and kept my stock box. I don't want a huge cone sitting in my engine bay. I think it looks out of place on a 911.
Yeah...the unfortunate thing with that intake kit is that it more than doubled in price from 2 years ago when I got it. It's worth it if you can find someone selling it used though.

In my opinion there are 2 nice air-intakes with dual snorkels and they are the OEM X51 or Champion Werks 1. Both very nice with carbon fiber but also very expensive.

Good luck in your search and decision..!
