What is this car worth?
Just found an 07 meteor grey c4s with 22k or so on it in outstanding condition. No warranty, was traded to a lexus dealer, has sport chrono, 6sp, factory aero kit, turbo wheels, sport exhaust. They are asking 59,900 for it and i was wondering what this car should be able to be bought for. The only option it does not have that i wanted is the full leather..
Full leather is nice, but shouldn't be a deal breaker. Before you get too far down the road, ask them if they'll allow you to drive it to the closest Porsche dealer or specialty mechanic (of your choosing) for a PPI. If they say no (which they probably will) move on...
They might 'conditionally' allow you to do so after you negotiate a price - to get you emotionally attached to it. If so, say "my offering to pay an Porsche specialist mechanic to evaluate the vehicle shows I'm vested and I'll make an offer commiserate w/ the results of said PPI". Check w/ local dealer too - they CAN run the VIN and give you a pretty accurate read of all dealer performed services for car. Go from there to work on the price...
Good luck

They are across the street from a very well known porsche dealer so getting the car checked out is easy...i'm just really wondering what a "can't pass up" price is on this car...thanks
There is a difference in "what is this car worth" as opposed to " a deal I just can't pass up".
Prices for pre-owned cars are on the rise and will likely increase as there is an expected shortage of good preowned because of poor lackluster sales of new Porsches starting at the end of 2008 through 2009.
Getting a 22K exceptional condition C4S for $59K is a good deal. Is it a steal? Not really but the number is fair. If you can get them down to $56-57, you are approaching "just can't pass up".
Hope the above helps.

Don't tell me it has two tone terracotta interior. I was contemplating an exact similar car back when I was searching for mine 2 years ago.
Does it look like the one in this photo? It had sports wheel back then but came with turbo wheels.
FYI this one had sticker price of $116945. It had 18498 miles when I saw it in March of 2009, and they were asking $64989 CPO'ed. I turned it down since I found a brand new 08 for not much more than that.

Wow, some of you guys did extremely well with those prices... and no it has standard black interior, i really really love the two tone terracotta and the natural brown, but i guess you can't have it all for nearly half msrp!!
guys here is a link to the car i am looking at....only question to me is what is the carbon fiber center piece of the rear spoiler? Is it wrapped maybe or can you change out just this section? Just makes me question it a little. Wanted ya'lls opinions before i went further. I'm thinking that 55k with some sort of warranty is where it needs to be. What is your take?
