2 Cars in your garage what would they be?

M5, E63, CTS-V, XF-R, and Audi S6 are on my radar. First four provide no AWD, but I'm sure with a good set of snows would be fine. Really will come down to best deal on a lease. If S6 comes in decent would lean towards that.

I agree with P car combo...we have a 997 GT3 and a Cayenne S as the family car/hauler. Great minds think alike-the S4 is my 3rd and daily driver. Does OK, but not as interesting as some other options ppl have mentioned.

Of the cars you have now, what is it you'd like to improve? If you want more performance or exclusivity than the C2S, then you should think about a current model GT3 or the new 991S. For all around DD, the S4 is hard to beat. Any change to a bigger car will seem like your driving a tank, a change to BMW will be "different", but not necessarily better.

As for S4 I love it, but just not sure if I want another one. Like to try new cars. However if it comes down to paying twice as much for an S6 will look elsewhere. I have not driven a BMW 550 so cannot comment on that vehicle. I have a long history with BMW's and enjoyed most and only left due to the commonness of the car and reliability issues. So if reliability still an issue that would be off table as well.

So, my final vote would be: For the "leased DD": stick with the S4. It does everything a DD is supposed to do and is fun and functional. Since you don't have kids, my only other considerations would be an M1 or the Mitsu EVO. The M3 and M5 can get too expensive. Other cars discussed are tanks dynamically, or are just too expensive. As a "driver", you would be bored out of your mind with anything too big and regret it within the first year. For the "sports car" , keep your car, follow the reviews on the 991, then order a 2013 991S with all the options you want. That way, you don't have to deal with the "big wing" or "heavy clutch" of the gt3. Good luck!!!!

991 S sounds like a def upgrade, but so is the price. S equipped right upwards of $120k. My best fit is a 997.1 TT. I just need to find a good deal on one. If not will stick with my car or if I happen to have a few drinks and get dropped off at a Nissan dealer I could find myself in the 2013 545hp Godzilla for 91k

I am being a little self serving here and looking for some ideas or people that have had experience with some of the cars I am about to list.
This conversation started with a friend over a drink or two.
I have a lease coming due in 2012 and thinking of trading 911 for something new.
Just Some Options trying to stick with on awd car for winter and practicality.
*Buy New CTS-V Sedan and Lease Audi S5
*Buy New Nissan GTR and Lease another Audi S4
*Buy 2007-08 997 Turbo low mileage and Lease 550ixdrive, S4, or E550...
*Buy 991 4S and maybe a cheap lease car
*Buy New 997 Turbo and lease nothing put snows on and drive year round. - Least Practical and most expensive but I like it...

Hard to go wrong with some version of a 911 paired with some version of a modern bmw or audi sedan especially if you go for a performance model....I have tried most sedans and always end up coming back to BMW or Audi over Mercedes just find them more fun to drive and the AMG torque gets boring after a short while as the steering does not give you as much road feel.... Good luck...

BTW I vote for GT3/RS and Cayenne GTS/Turbo combo.

That comment is pretty intelligent. Real car guys. Instead of fake car guys. Perhaps you didn't listen to his desires. He doesn't want an SUV. And he is not a fan of a big wing. Try again.

Just thinking about what two cars I would like to have is my current 2011 Carrera S and a 2008 or newer Corvette Z06. I owned my 2007 Cayman S and 2000 Corvette C5 both with 6 speeds. I consider myself lucky to be able to own both at onceat least once in my life. I'm not weathly enough to do this while I am retired.
