wonder if same error shows if you swap left and right DRL temporarily. see if its related to a particular assembly or whether there may be some more central problem

I tried swapping assemblies when parked, still throws a warning.

My car throws an check front right parking light when i turn them on, the lights work but i get the warning. Oddly enough when i drive for about 15 minutes the warning will then turn off and come back on randomly.

Some of you may remember that about 2 years ago I made my own LED front lights. My lights have been working for 2 years with no problems. I did a lot of testing so I think I can help out. Most likely if you are throwing a code it's a resistor issue. As long as the resistors are the right kind then the actual lights themselves will have no effect on the car's electronics. My guesss is that rottec has built in resistors. If you are getting codes every once in a while it must be one of two things. Either a lose connection somewhere between the wiring and resistor or the resistor is not big enough. For example, when i first installed my lights I would get a code every once in a while. It was just a loose connection with the resistor.

Check that the lights are properly connected. It could be that the wires are loose. I have a 08 GT3 and have no error codes. Though i dont drive it right know because of winter, but i had it idle for a long time a no errors.

Same here, had it idling and moving between spaces in my garage for about an hour with no codes from the DRLs.
BTW, the HIDs from RoTtec are a great match to the DRLs.

Make sure that the prongs for your fogs are not bent. Make sure that the wiring to the parking light is in its grooves. I had an issue with the fogs and parking light not working initially because of the above issues. No error msg; however.
