Here's a good question.......

If you own a 2005 to 2008 997.1 C2 or C2S and want to upgrade to a 2009 and Up Front or Rear Bumper, do you only need to:

Front Bumper:

-Bumper Cover
-LED Turn Signals w/FVD Module

Rear Bumper:

-Bumper Cover
-Rear LED Lights OEM
-FVD Module if you own a 2005 to 2006

That's pretty much it right? I'm trying to figure out the cost of the swap and it seems that the price is not that bad to convert, any input?

Thanks Ryan, I am just figuring out the cost and it seems I don't need the module for the rear tail lamps since it is going on a 2008. The front conversion also seems a little high $$$. Please don't take that comment the wrong way. Here's an example....

-Tail Lamps $401.89 ea.
-Bumper Cover $977.07

From the looks of the parts catalog everything else comes off my rear bumper, so total cost is $1,780.85 plus shipping. Btw those prices are from Sonnen Porsche Parts Catalog Online

We have done a few of these conversions and know which parts need to be replaced to Gen 2 and which parts can be re-used. Everything is genuine Porsche and not aftermarket or knock off.

We have the kits listed at a wholesale level and the price is as aggressive as we can go. As you know we are not known for ripping our customers off...

If you order just the bumper, lights and module there will be some items missing and we would be more than happy to help you out with the remainder of the conversion. Like I said we put these kits together by talking to our previous customers and doing our homework to get a smooth install with no headaches.

Good luck with the conversion and feel free to give us a shout if there is anything else we can help you out with.

Ryan don't take it personal, I have bought from you guys for a long time and I have also been very loyal to you guys! I have spent a lot of money with your dealership but when I was looking at the conversion on your website it only talks about the bumper cover, lights and module. I never accused you nor your dealership of ripping people off, I was just asking a general question about costs and parts needed. I would love to know the parts needed for these conversions. Freight cost are crazy, so i'm just trying to see if I can get the big parts closer to me. I'm not here to flame you or your staff, matter of fact everytime I talk to local guys I always point them to your direction.

I'm trying to understand this upgrade.
$5700 for the parts
$600 for freight to Colorado
$XX amount for painting.

Just doesn't seem worth it. Don't get me wrong, I think this is great that Suncoast has put together this kit...but for that money just to replace bumpers and lights...why wouldn't you just upgrade to a 997.2 car?

Maybe it's just me. :-)

Elusive, I like the updated look of the car. I have the rear lights already from a member that sold them here, I just need a rear bumper and a few other parts to finish rear end, also I Love my car and its color combo along with the 6,890 miles on it.

I think part of the reason that Suncoast is more expensive than Sonnen is because Suncoast includes the FVD harness for the tail lights. This harness costs about $500.
