wheel offset problem

I bought a set of Carrera S II wheels on ebay. The description stated they came off a 2010 997 C2 coupe. I received the wheels today and they were pristine as described. I had them mounted and balanced and then I noticed that they set just outside of flush with my fender. First thought was that it just looked a little different than my lobsters offset. I drove the car home and took a close look at wheel offsets that is stamped on inside of rims. The rears are 51mm offset which according to Porsche is the size for the Carrera 4. Am I going to have to send these back? My car is not lowered, but am I going to have any issues with clearance? I have not contacted the seller yet. The auction description went on to say that the Porsche dealer said that the wheels will fit both narrow body and wide bodies. I can live with the offset as long as no harm will be done. I'll be happy to post some photos for opinions.

Wrong, C4 is a WB

NB is C2, C2S, and GT3 (non RS)

To the OP your car should be OK, it comes down to what you like. If it were me, I would send them back.

That looks about the same as NB wheels with 15mm spacers, which a lot of us ( myself included) run. I dont think youll have problems, but if they were sold to you as C2 NB wheels, well, you didnt really get what you were suppossed to receive.

Thanks for the replies. I feel better. I really don't mind the look, its growing on me. I just want to be sure that it won't create any problems. I checked with a straight edge against the wheel and it's exactly flush with the fender lip. After looking through other threads regarding wheels and fitment I am seeing many that look even more offset to the point it looks like it could easily hit the fender. Especially the ones that have been lowered.

The seller didn't misrepresent the auction. He listed the part #'s and offsets for front and rear. All I saw was Will Fit Narrow Body 997. Stupid tax. I guess I am wanting a bunch of you to say they look fine, no need to worry.

They look fine but you should get spacers to bring the front wheels to flush as well. It will look better in my opinion.
