I just replaced my OEM boring thin steering wheel (which I never liked) with the thicker 997 Sport wheel from DCT Motorsports. Love it! What do you guys think??

Very nice! I'm considering buying from DCT also. How long did it take from the time you ordered it and recieved your new steering wheel?

 

Very nice. I like the flat part of the wheel at its base. It creates some free leg room to exit the car ;-)

 

Nice. How does the leather match?

 

It's very nice. I was quoted 1100 for a blk with extra thick grip. Not sure if it's really worth it.

 

It took a little over 3 weeks from order to delivery. Match is good and I had it installed at my dealer. It feels so much better, highly recommended!

 

Did you have to send back your old wheel, or were you able to keep it?

 

I had to send my old wheel back in exchange.

 

That really just sets the car off. I bet it makes the driving just that much better.

 

Absolutely does. Feels like a race car now.

 

Just ordered a wheel from DCT. Ivan was great to work with and very patient.

I'll post pics when I get it. It should look very close to 'jabed92694' wheel except my mine is black (smooth & perforated leather) w/ round air bag. Oh ya . . . flat bottom and thick sides.

 

I just want to get the new 2011-2012 sport steering wheel to replace my plain, awful looking triangle airbag one...

 

If you can get a late model wheel and it fits (don't think so) the cost might be prohibitive.

Check out DCT's offerings. They can some super stuff to your 'dull' looking wheel.
