Mary christmas to All,

I recently ordered 997.1 Rear Brake Pads for my 2006 C2S but instead ordering the correct ones, i mistakenly went for the C4S Rear Brake Pads. The 1 million dollar question is will they fit my C2S

Yes. Suncoast indicates the OEM Rear pads are the same part number which makes sense as the calipers ars the same.

The reason why I'm saying this is because I've ordered the EBC Red Stuff pads. now the front pads are identical in shape and part number for C2S/C4S but the rear are different in part number and shape of pads.

As their site shows 2 different part numbers for rear brakes and they are less than specific with their model designation I'm guessing the correct pads are the DP 32029C as they are listed for both the C4S and the S models for the rears. I checked the Summit Racing site which only lists the DP32029 rear pads for your car which supports my guess. Which part number did you get ?

if you check below link you'll notice the part number for the C2S rear pad is DP31514C
and for the C4S is DP32029C

According to EBC's website, DP31514C fits Porsche Boxster 99-06 model...?

Best wait until you get the pads and see, or just call EBC / Perfect Brakes tomorrow.

I'm with Equinox on this one, too much part number confusion. Call whomever you got them from and ask them.

i've got the pads and they look exactly the same as picture below, you'll also notice the difference between the two.

The one on the right side is the one i got = DP32029C

The one on the left side is the = DP31514C

So it's back to the 1 million dollar question again
