Clippers NBA/Porsche club

anyone register for this yet? My wife and I are registered for tomorrow nights game with the trailblazers. there is a porsche valet, a gift bag of something, and passes to the courtside club. Also a chance to have the seats upgraded to the porsche seats. Just wondering if anyone has done this yet?

How was it? What's the courtside club?

I'm registered for this coming Wednesday's game against Miami.

it was actually pretty disappointing. The whole thing is run by the clippers...so they don't really get the Porsche thing. We got to the game about 10 minutes after tip-off, the valet told us the Porsche table had been closed up for 20 minutes. So, no passes to the club, no food, no swag. Then the valet is not just for the Porsche deal, it is the valet for the entire staples center. Saved $50 on that, but had to wait about 20 minutes to get my car after the game, the place was a mad house. So next time? Not sure I'd go for it, I'll probably park elsewhere and take a cab.

matches my experience with similar events, i think it is quite typical. best way to enjoy sports is to get invited into any corporate suit, arrive in a corporate limo etc.
anything else is a rip-off or will be turned into rip-off by poor execution by arena stuff that simply does not care.

yeah, having a driver for these things is def the way to go in LA. I go to a lot of games up in portland, and if you have seats in about the first 10 rows, there is a special parking garage, and it makes it SO EASY! the staples center and downtown LA are great once you are where you need to be, but getting in/out is a nightmare! This is pretty common in BIG cities though.
Sterling1975, yes, it looks like we are, I was going to ask if the "sterling" is any relation to the BMW dealership in newport...but then i saw the E63 AMG in your stable!

The cool thing is that the Clips beat the Heat and that they are more fun to watch than the Lakers by a large margin! Hope they have more games down here in the OC at the Honda Center- They would get a lot more people using the Porsche Valet - just because it is esier to get in and out of the facilty down here...
