TUBI exhaust
TUBI exhaust
Found a TUBI style exhaust for a 997.1. It was on a 2008 C2S for approximately 1,000 miles and seller claims it is in excellent condition (no damage, dents, etc.). The deal includes optional Tubi Style ceramic coated satin black quad round tips. Is $1k a fair price for this exhaust? What questions should be asked when looking at a used exhaust?

Tubi can be loud. I put a set on my Maserati (granted, a big Ferrari V-8) and found the drone at highway speeds to be annoying.

Tubi is great....zero drone stock like sound cruising on the highway and at idle and driving in the neighborhood. Tubi opens up on sound at around 4000rpm. Plus only $1k for slightly used is great too...these are $3600 new. I used my Tubi for over 25,000 miles and well over 50 tracks days.

Did you win the ebay auction for the Tubi? If so, let us know what you think when you have it installed.
Didn't pull the trigger...I think I need to hear these exhausts in person before spending on sound. From video, I'm a fan of Awe, FVD and Tubi, but to hard to tell which noise is best to my ears...thanks for the feedback though.
