how to remove airbag sticker?

Only 5/10 on scale of bother, but lately been thinking would like cleaner interior look without the airbag stickers on my sun visors.

Problem is, appears they're not peelable stickers. Kind of bonded right into the leather.

Anyone know how or ever remove these stickers somehow? I see Suncoast has ones I can order euro style without the stickers, but those run $1200

Was debating whether acetone scrub might get them off but I have leather visors and that can't be good.

A rag soaked in alcohol and applied against the sticker will loosen it up and allow it to be removed. I've done this on previous Porsche cars. On my latest, a GTS with black interior, I bought and applied these cover-ups. They are indetectable and apply easily.

The airbag warning decal can be removed with isopropyl alcohol available at Walmart, Walgreens, etc ($2 to $4). Try to get the highest alcohol percentage (91%?). You don't have to remove the visors, but of course be very careful not to spill alcohol in the car.
  1. Fold up a paper towel so that it covers just the decal.
  2. Soak the folder paper towel with alcohol (not dripping wet).
  3. Hold it against the decal for 5 to 10 minutes then check the decal by trying to pry up an edge with a putty knife, tweezers, or something similar.
  4. If the decal doesn't seem ready, continue with the alcohol soaked paper towel - check frequently.
  5. Once the edge of the decal comes up, raise enough of the decal so that you can pull it with your fingers or tweezers.
  6. If you're lucky, the whole decal will come off in one piece.
  7. It will be very stretchy. You might have to re-apply the alcohol.
  8. When done, the visor will look a shiny. Clean it with alcohol, then water, then vinyl protectant and you'll probably never notice it again.

a much easier solution with excellent results is to cover the stickers. There is a guy on Ebay, Boxster Bob, who sells the covers in the factory color and size and they work great.

With your solution you still have stickers. The folks who do this do so because they don't want stickers.

that was easy, happen to have a gallon of Denatured Alcohol, rubber glove and a paper towel, few minutes later and both stickers are gone!
Thanks!
