Reaching out to see if anyone has shipped 997.1 PSE mufflers and know how much they weigh or how much it costs.

I bought a set of PSE mufflers from ebay and the guy is claiming it weighs 80lbs and costs $160 to ship UPS. If I recall, the last time I weighed my stock mufflers they weighed about 20 lbs each. I know the PSE mufflers are heavier, but didn't think it was twice as heavy.

Thanks.... was that 1 or 2 boxes, UPS ground, and do you remember the weight?

 

If it's going coast-to-coast $160 doesn't sound out of the norm. Remember UPS, FEDEX, etc have all raised their rates recently.

ps. PSE is heavier then stock muffers. Remember they have the extra hardware of valves, etc.

 

Thanks, good to know, seems like they are always raising their rates. It's going from Texas to Cali, BTW.

 

If you ship it GROUND , it should not be more than 100 dollars I think ... however, it may depend on the SIZE of the box, not necessarily the weight ( charged by volume) .

 

I believe it was one box and shipped USPS.

 

The seller and I worked out a compromise on the price. Thanks for all your input, you guys are great!
