Just looking over the new car again and was wondering about the clear film in front of the rear wheels on the side of the car... I have a small little yellow dot of something the size of this ..... which appears to be under the film. With only 5000 miles I am wondering what may have happened? It must have been changed because the factory wouldn t mess up like that.. What do you all think. I know I can change them.

 

Would that be rust starting to show up?

I doubt it.. 5000 mile car in pristine condition.. it looks like a tear drop of something.

That is why mine are black. On a Carrera White car it looks sharp

 

Like stated before, probably a stain of some sort. The film will yellow over time as well.

 

you can always replace them when they get crappy or if it bothers you. it will yellow over time

 

Just had mine replaced on a Guards '07 C4S Cab. WOW, what a difference. The new ones are virtually invisible.
