I don't know what it is about this car, but it seems to attract other cars in parking lots.
I got in early this morning and parked way to the right of this space leaving about 3 feet of space between my driver door and the dividing line. Get up to grab some coffee, and this is what I see...

Ha! Thats what she deserved for abandoning your kid in the car while she went to get her nails done.
That photo of yours is really awesome. The kid's expression is priceless.

There's three kinds of people:
1)
The ones with a nice car who park next to you because they want to keep their car safe. They will respect your car, no matter how tight the spot, and know you will do the same for them.
2)
The ones who have a beat-up car and are oblivious to how expensive your car is, and how beat-up their car is. They will open the door wide, and ding your car, and walk away in complete ignorance. They don't mean ill, but they just don't know any better. I just want to know why they HAVE to park so far out next to you, when there are other closer spots?
3)
Then there are the people who have beat up cars. They know you have a nice car, and they know they don't, and they HATE it! They will go out of their way to park next to you, and they WILL ding your door--- on purpose.
Years ago, I had parked my nice new sports car (not a p-car) in a parking lot. I just happened to look out of the window of the building I was in... There was an open spot on the right side of my car. I watched as a young guy pulled into the spot, with his girlfriend in the passenger seat. I noticed that the girl kept staring at my car. I was horrified as this guy, using unusual force, swung open his door unnecessary wide and wacked my car as he got out of his beat-up old car. I was too far away to do or say anything. But I'm certain he did it out of jealousy.

OMG I would have lost it. There is no way for them to get out of their car without hitting yours. Did you check for door dings???
I know, right? I moved to Oregon from Maryland, so I can't get away from the front plate. Plus, the town I work in is well known for ticketing for no front plate. At least it's a tow hook mount. I couldn't bring myself to drilling into the bumper!
