Agree with everyone else, especially if you're look at automatics where you'd have the switch from tip to PDK.

I think you should get a DME report first. If no over revs, then I agree with everyone. Go my09.

DME report needed if these are manuals. Probably not needed if these are tip or pdk.

Any of them have a sport package? If you mod, you may get more out of the 08 since it is a bigger engine. I would only consider 08 if it had chrono/sport.

a report of over-revs usually cause by mishifting. it'll tell you the number of engine revolutions in each range how many hours were on the engine when it happened. its not a big deal in my opinion unless the report is really bad.

so as an example, for 911-997, range 6, such report would show how many times revs went above 9500 ?.....am I interpretting this right ?

Right, you're interpreting it correctly. And yes, I meant ignitions. Do a search in the forum. There are a lot of example reports and peoples' opinions about them.

Probably (read: definitely) me being a little shallow, I'd go for the S. Better yet, save up for a little while longer and get an 09 S.
