Exclamation Better Bodies Motorsports Designs Wing

I purchased a 997 TK style wing from Better Bodies Motorsports Designs. I am sad to say that the quality of the wing is absolutely appalling. There is not one flat spot anywhere on it. Every inch of the wing is wavy with humps and divots all over. Every body shop I have taken the wing to has told me to send it back and that it will take 24 - 30 hours to make it right (if that is even possible). Keep in mind it has not even been put on the car to check for fitment so it could require even more work depending on how bad it fits.

I called the company yesterday and am waiting for a call back from the owner Armando Lopez. I will keep everyone posted on the resolution.

Sorry to hear that. I looked at the company's site and it looks like they knocked off the Techart GT-Street front bumper as well.

I wouldn't be surprised that you wing had such a horrible finish. I have also seen high end aero parts with the same issues and required a lot of prep work as well. I had a Techart front bumper that needed so much prep work, it kept sucking the paint in for some reason. I heard this was a common issue.

I hope it all works out for you in the end though. Good luck!

Oh, bummer! Sorry to hear that. Painting a wing requires enough work as it is - if quality is terrible, it's almost like the body shop has to "resculpt" it to even make it work.

Too bad Precision Porsche doesn't make a wing in that style. I don't think Misha does, either... Both of those have good quality reputations.

Hope they give you a new wing or you get your money back!
