I noticed a rattle by our heads in both my 997 and my friends. Its the seat belt housing on the b pillar for me.

I had some noise from the rear as well, and it turned out that one of the catch on the rear passenger seat was slightly loose. You might want to check that the seats are set flush against the back.

Under the seats? I had four AAA batteries stuck beneath the carpet that drove me nuts for a while.

Is the right rear seat locked? My rear seat was upright and looked OK, but the metal lock mechanism was not seated properly, causing a noise.
