I can't hear a difference in my new 991 on the Bose System. I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile, but I am definitely "discerning". I love the AUX-BT. Sure beats connecting/disconnecting the phone every single time. Bummer is just that the small tray in the console is too narrow to hold an iphone properly...

Ah, now it makes sense. My cable doesn't have the USB on a Y - it goes to the iPhone and that's it. Makes sense to port USB power over to the phone, now doesn't it?
