Smoked/darken side markers for 997.2?

I have done a search and not much i can find so here i am. I know the clear factory made side markers are probably the most popular for most of the 911 owners, but I kind wonder if there are good quality smoked/darken side markers available in today's market. I have seen some on eBay and almost all of them are made for 997.1. Is the fitment any different?

I would appreciate if someone can share some thoughts. Thank you in advance.

I think the factory clear side marker is already a little bit smoked!

1. I don't believe the fitment is any different from .1 to .2
2. Mine were genuine Porsche, but tinted after-market
3. I think the clears are just that, clear (at least the genuine P versions)

Thanks guys. Yes, the fitment for .1 and .2 are the same. They have the same part numbers from Porsche. I guess what I will do is to purchase the clear side markes and tint them with smoked films that I bought for some other project. I will bring back the result if it turns to be good. Thanks again guys.

Definitely will do. I will test on both the ORANGE and CLEAR side markers, then see which ones match up the best.

film on orange lenses won't be worth wasting the film on, imo

I like how your tinted side markers and tail lights turn out. I also am thinking about tinting the LED DRL/Fog light too. Not sure how it will be, but I will give it a try when my tint films arrive.
