Windstop - or no windstop?

Going on an extended driving tour - 4000 miles - with our 07 C2S Cab. I just recently did a short weekend get away and the wind-stop makes loading the rear seat bags awkward with the wind-stop in place. This got me thinking about our extended tour and if leaving the wind-stop at home to make loading unloading easier would be a mistake. We are heading to Parade and then south through Zion, Grand Canyon, Vegas, LA, Monterey, San Francisco, Napa and then home. Would it be a mistake to leave the wind-stop home? Your tips or bag advice is appreciated.

Every time I think, I dont need the wind stop and take it out....I wish I had the wind stop. So my vote would be to keep it with you on your 4K journey.

it's largely weather dependent. but i'd bring it.

just use bags that fit under the windstop. the windstop can also keep the bags out of sight from prying eyes too.

I never user the Windstop on my 996 but the 997 seems to have much more interior wind and noise. I would take it. Anyone else notice this difference?

personally i don't need the windscreen, even on a 4k mile trip.

but, if my GF is in the car, the windscreen is a must

i noticed u said "our 07 cab"...

Enjoy and safe driving !

I leave my windscreen in 100% of the time. It makes a huge difference with back flow wind, let's you talk in the cabin (wife), and looks cool

Yes it would if you plan on putting the top down for any extended period of time and traveling at highway speeds.
