If I had to choose between the two it would definitely be the grey one. Great seats and I'm not so hot on green with tan.

If I recall correctly .....

I think the green was the C2S Launch car.
The C4S launch car (grey) is the one that had the Sport Buckets
The C2S Cab Launch car was blue with no sport chrono
The C2 launch car was white with no sport chrono

Don't know about the 4S "launch" car or if there was a 4S specifically allocated to dealers. Personally, I doubt it, but maybe I just never heard about it.

ryem3 what makes me think they are launch cars? Because the probably are...see below

The '09 C2S PDK launch car was green, with sand beige interior. It had PDK, the electric seats and did have Sport Chrono (ref this link: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...on-cars-2.html and see posting by DMoore)

and the C4S PDK launch car was gray and had the sport bucket seats

From a posting by yrralis1:

Also at the launch each dealership was given
4 Green C2S launch cars
4 Meteor C4S with sport bucket seats
4 white base coupes with PDK and no Chrono
2 Macadamia Targas PDK no Chrono
4 Aqua c2S Cabs no chrono

contact yrralis1 if you doubt that.

Off topic but this is a rant.

I've been scouring autotrader/craigslist daily for a 997.2 C2S/C4S or 07-09 Turbo and why are most listings at least $5-12K above KBB/Edmunds/NADA private party value? The worst offenders are private sellers!

Here are some examples
2009 C2S no sport chrono, no sport seats, no bose, no nav. Asking $83k
2007 C4S with 8000miles. Asking $73K
2007 C4S with 75000miles. Asking $56K
2007 Turbo with 23000miles. Asking $93K

So frustrating to find a decent used 911!!!!! But patience will be rewarded...... I guess in the fall/winter?

The massive price increase of the 991 plus the inability to even buy the sweetness that is a C4S 991 is the reason. The 997.2 is an instant classic and the prices reflect that. I have been offered more then I actually bought my CPO C4S 911 for. My car only has 7k miles on it though

Happy Friday 997.2 experts ..

Wanted to see what you all thought of this one (it seems to have the options I need which were PDK and NAV), and how much do you think the dealer would go down to (or right price I should get it for)

As always thanks for your advice!

Love the color and great low miles. On the other hand, what on EARTH happened to that rear wheel. I'm not sure it was due to neglect on the part of the first owner - most likely an idiot tire shop? I'd find out the issue here, and it's certainly step #1 to driving $3K off the price because of the need to get rid of them or refurb 'em. Mod #1 on my list regardless.

If you are really serious about the car, let me know and I'll swing by this weekend to take a peek at it.

Daberlin! I owe you dinner and a few drinks just for the kind gesture, thank you!! Let me see what info I get back from the dealer and will keep you posted, I'll press for the wheel answers as well.

Then, perhaps if it's close to a lock I may ask for your help to verify..hope you have a good one, and always nice learning and hearing from ya'!

I've been looking at a couple of 911 in Downtown LA too.
This one is 2009 C2S but already 32K miles: http://www.porschedowntownla.com/cer...c124073d12.htm
I'm think they should definitely knock the price down below 70K

Probably higher than my budget but they also have a 2011 c2s with only 15.6Kmiles. Like the paddleshifters.
http://www.porschedowntownla.com/cer...4a280ef0bf.htm
Wondering how much of the cost difference now would be made up over the long-run because it'll be under warranty much longer than the 2009. Don't think they'll be as likely to lower the price on it vs the 2009 though. Otherwise I would have already gone their and bought it.

Personal preference is to find a white c2s with low miles with something other than a standard black or gray interior. Hard to find though

Thanks Katera - the response I got back from dealer was the wheel scratches "were repaired"..

Here's the response and spec they sent me on it:

"""
I received your inquiry regarding our 2009 911 Coupe in Aqua Blue. Please see full specs below and let me know if you have any questions.

The price has been reduced to $64,895 from our original asking price for a quick sale. Also, the wheel scratches have been repaired. There are no dings or scratches on the vehicle. This was a trade in on a new Panamera.

Knock $1500 off because you will have to add sport and sport plus. A must for a PDK car.

Thanks for input Michael..after speaking over the phone with the sales manager for 20mins, he finally budged the priced down by $1K and was quite adamant he can't budge further..They are below KBB for a CPO and that is where this confuses me as I'm wondering- am I expecting too much for further discounts or are the dealers just playing the usual' game pricing...I hope to get it for $60K considering I'd need to fly to SoCal and bring it back to NorCal..
