2005 997S get refreshed

I have been wanting to refresh the look on my wife's 997.1S and add a few conveniences so I recently added the following items below. I am very happy with the results. I am still trying to decide on performance upgrades but every time I think about it the only thing that comes to mind is a TPC turbo. I am not sure if I am going to make that kind of investment or just go out and get a preowned PDK turbo.

1) Dectane front and rear LED Driving lights.
2) Dension IPOD and Bluetooth. The interface almost feels like the car came with it.
3) Avant Garde Ruger Mesh's in hyper silver. I need to find some colored center caps. I think they would look good.

I am now trying to decide if I get the center console painted Guards Red because I am frustrated with the scratches in the rubbery paint that is on the interior parts.

Here are a few pics.

Those LEDs look great on red! Good choice on the wheels.

That is a gorgeous car! I just did the front and rear LED Dectane lights on my 2007 997S. I also did the Maxspeed LED interior lights. It really updates the car. Great job and I love those wheels.

Looks great! I did the same but with ROTtec f/r LED, all interior/exterior LED, and 6k Cool White lights. It's all a great upgrade.

With a red car I'd for sure go with the center console paint. Beautiful machine.

BTW, was the Dension IPOD and Bluetooth a DYI? Would you mind sharing where you purchased it and/or any other information?

The Dension IPOD/Bluetooth was a DIY. If you can install the front LED's you can tackle the Dension IPOD/Bluetooth. The directions in this forum are very straight forward. The only difference I had was a different color cable I needed to splice into. If you have questions I can pull my light and take a pic of the connections. I purchased it from Erik at Bumperplugs. He has amazing customer service and shipped right away. The Bluetooth was backordered so it took about two extra weeks but I think he now has inventory. Install was very easy and removing and replacing the plastic coves in the boot is an easy task. Eric also sends an email with very specific installation directions.

I used the newer module and purchased it from Frank at Orange tuning. It is the newer module that turns the driving lights on as soon as you turn on the car. When you turn on the headlights, I have to pull out the fog lamp to turn them on with the headlights. If I don't, the horizontal light bar in the middle turns on.

It needs a slight drop! Or a set of one inch larger wheels!

I honestly should have gone for the 20's but I just replaced the tires about 1.5 months ago. Should have thought about it then. I agree bigger wheels would look nice. Maybe on the next car.

BTW, Here is my other little toy my dad built. It is a Classis Roadster Kit that comes with the chassis. It has a balanced and blueprinted 302 with a nice c4 tranny with a torque converter and shift kit. We are estimating about 320 HP.

Amazing looking......Great Job.....

Some springs or coilover will definitely give your vehicle a more aggressive stance.
