Im in orange county, need a bit of warranty work and maybe basic service done, which dealer would you recommend of newport, mckenna, circle, and pacific? They are the closest to me.

My friend also recommended auto strasse in costa mesa for maintenance, nyone have experience with them?

I avoid Newport Porsche at any cost even though I live in Newport/Corona del Mar. Massive attitude and massive pricing as well.
I have no direct experience with the other three.
I use an Indy for 'regular' stuff (European car specialist on Birch St., factory trained Porsche master tech) and BBI Motorsport in Huntington Beach for more 'advanced (i.e. non-stock) stuff.

Not to steal the post, but how about the San Diego area? Anyone have experience with the dealers? (Service time is coming around the corner)

Newport Porsche can be a little haughty, but if is warranty work, they are my choice.

Newport's been fine for warranty work on our 2008 C2S. Wouldn't likely buy a car there, but work was good.

I've had good experience with Circle.

To echo what others have said, Newport is ok for warranty work but routinely overcharges on parts so stay away if you are paying.

The techs at Newport seem to be excellent. Other than that, beware. I had my 2 year service done there and told them not to touch the oil, as I had changed it myself. Guess what? They had the nerve to bill me for topping it off (it had been showing 1 block low). Additionally, when new, during the PDI the shipping strut block on the right front was inadvertently left in. After a few days I discovered it and advised the dealer. Their response was basically, "oh sure, bring it in and we'll be happy to take care of it". Not once did anyone apologize for the mistake. I would have been a bit embarrassed, but they acted as if it happens all the time.
