Thumbs up DIY Bilstein / Techart Coilover Install on a 997.2 for Dummies

Hello,

I would like to share a DIY Coilover install which I did last week. I am not a an experienced mechanic. So far the install was a success. I tried to document every step as it goes. I don't know what a wheel carrier was until I started this project . I cannot find a detailed DIY on the web for the Base 997.2 so I want to share this. Please add corrections to the DIY as needed. This is a PDF file.

Wow, great write up. I could have used this a couple months back when I swapped out my suspension. Rep points for you.

Thanks guys! I just wanted to share. I know there are some who wanted to do it but the DIY found in here does not explain or show it step by step for the 997.2. This was my second major DIY mod, the first one was changing my exhaust and it was very rewarding to do on your own. I feel more bonded to my car after working on it. Here are some before and after photos. The car was lowered by an inch.

I am going to tackle this DIY over the holidays, but wasn't able to see the doc. Any chance you still have it and can send to me or post again or Drop box?

Coilovers DIY

I was trying to check while at work and I bet the security settings didn't allow the doc to come thru. Thanks for the copy anyway. Much appreciated!
