Yellow spots on car

Ok, I figure someone here in the Bay Area should know this. What is the freakin' bug that leaves the little yellow-orange spots all over my meteor gray P car? It seems to preferentially miss the other cars I own, but when I'm parked outside for just a few minutes... Granted, I prefer this over the paint-etching purple berry bird-poop that seems destined always for the BMW, but still.

Don't think it's a bug it's pollen from the trees.

I think PTParks is correct.
These spots are just irritating. I remove them by wetting a piece of 1" square toilet paper with Arrowhead drinking water and place it on the poop for a couple of minutes then they just wipe off easily. Don't do this on a dirty car.

Car cover? If parking outside and having problems (not to mention sun protection) I would look at buying one (and maybe one for the BMW too).

Hmm, bee poop makes sense. These spots are 2-4mm. Too big for pollen. They wipe up easily enough with quick detail spray, so no biggie. Have bigger battles to wage throughout the day. Just one of those things that I keep wondering about since I've gotten the Porsche. Now I know. As for the bimmer, I've realized, some trees you just don't park under...

I get the same thing, thought it was splatter from flying sea birds. They must look for Meteor gray P cars. What interesting is I don't get it on my top, only on the meteor grey body.

Tastes a little like chicken....

Used the new Meguair's paint sealant today. Expecting the bee poop to slide right off from now on.

seriously, i have heard that it is bird poop from 'on high', dissipating as it falls, though why would it be yellow...if it makes you feel any better, it is here in germany as well, and i get it on my mac brown, but it is non-color specific, of course, it is on all my cars, and all over europe, now that i think of it...
