New Guy

I've been lurking for a few days and have already learned a ton but soooo much more to learn. I just picked up my new to me '05 997 Cab this afternoon. It has a few little minor issues that I'll want to be fixing over the next several days so I'll be looking for help I'm sure..anyway, thanks for the great forum and happy to be aboard.

Thanks for the nice welcome Guys!

Doing great Ian. Nothing major.

I finally got the garage door opener sorted. The book instructions look like it's an either/or thing with fixed or rolling codes but you have to do both.

Horn's not working. I see where it's a known issue so I guess I'll be replacing those. Is there an easy way to access these? I see where folks are going through the wheel well but also something about removing the fog lights. Can I get to them by just removing the fog light?

Lumbar adjust on driver side not working. Any thoughts on that would be helpful.

Thanks. I got a couple when I picked it up yesterday but the light sucked so this is the only one that really came out. I'll get more maybe today.

It has 49,000. I looked on the VIN plate on the door and couldn't see the month. It went into service the end of Feb '05. Anywhere else to look for the month made?

I'm sure I'll have a ton more questions as I go along but I do try to research first so I at least know what to ask. I'm looking forward to hanging out with you guys.

It is. I was told that and the rocker panals are from Wicked but don't see them in their website..maybe previous production. Anyway, nice quality and I really love the look. One thing I would like to know is where I can get a cover to fit with that particular spoiler.
