Requesting pricing guidance on OEM wheels

I plan to list these on CL and wondering what they are worth. Usual minimal scrapes. Tires worn. Any help would be appreciated.

Look for a similar set on eBay and see if that is a price you would be willing to undercut by, say $200, in order to move your set to a new owner. I'd estimate something around $1500.

I wonder if I would be better off sticking them in the corner. Do people like to convert these cars back to stock or is that not a big deal?

My guess, refinished or blemish free rims are about $1800 to $2000. With good tires it goes up from there. If your tires are really worn then the value drops as the buyer pays more for shipping worthless rubber.

Perhaps $1300 to $1500 as-is due to condition, local pickup? Offer to dismount the tires at the buyers request prior to shipment otherwise.

Refinished version on eBay, no tires for $1900 plus shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130754432433

In general, most Porsche buyers want as original a car as possible, so it could help you when it comes time to sell the car to have them on there instead of aftermarket. But it could also help you to have the new wheels on there if the buyer happens to be someone that likes them. The odds say OEM is better though. In an ideal world, you can list the car for sale with both wheel options, and sell the ones separately that don't go along with the car.

What kind of wheels are you replacing them with? Normally you can sell used wheels in good condition for about 1/2 of the original price, but they won't add anything to the value of a used car (if anything they can subtract from the value unless they're a premium brand like HRE, BBS, etc).
