Porsche Panamera Test Drive Letter

Anyone get an official letter from Porsche offering a VIP test drive of a Panamera? The letter indicates that the local dealer of your choice will deliver a Panamera to your home, office or any other location and hand over the keys for a test drive.

Didn't receive the letter, but it's a pretty amazing car if you can get past the looks. I stopped by my dealer in October 2009 to drive their first Panamera demo, fell for a 2009 997 sitting on the showroom floor, and took her home with me that day. Oops. If you're in the market for a sedan, take them up on the offer and be sure to give Launch Control a try. Power in the 'S' is fantastic, and the ****pit has a great feel to it (particularly the high center console that has made its way into the new 911 and Cayenne). But baby got back.

Just noticed the auto-censoring of a term used to describe the interior of a jet (or Panamera)...LOL.

That's been an Audi tactic....Porsche must be picking it up.
I have no Audi's but am an Audi club member just to get pubs & track time.....have gotten those invites.

My dealership gives Panos as loaners whenever I drop off a car.
Personally not impressed with the car, and there's a couple things that bug the hell out of me every time I drive.
I'll admit I probably don't know how to drive a 4500 lb car....it's me.

But I think I'll ask for an Audi loaner next time .

Thanks... Dealer gave me a standard Panamera as loaner a while back but this offer looks like a 24 hour test drive and they deliver to your house. If possible, I would like to try the GTS or Turbo. I will update when I get more details unless someone has already taken advantage of this and can offer info. Porsche has always mailed little trinkets like the books, USB Drive etc but I've never had one of these.....

Didn't get a letter but I did test drive a Panamera turbo on the track. You can obviously feel the weight coming from a 911 but it's no slouch. It felt great but but can't get over how fugly it looks. The Cayenne was an ulgy car but the new ones looks great. The previous boxster looks like a bath tub but the new one looks great, can't wait until they figure the Panamera out. I would imagine the next Panamera will look great and handles better than any other car in it's segment.

I got the letter but not planning on using it. We owned a Panamera S a for about a year and really liked it...but it wasn't the sports car I wanted so it was traded for the 997 GTS. And my wife reminds me how much she liked the Panamera weekly. So no way I'm going to bring another one home to remind her of it...

No letter here but a similar end result...I bought a 2012 997 GTS and my wife loves the Panamera. She drove the Cayene as well this weekend but it was no contest in her opinion. I may be on the hook for a purchase sometime soon
