Where did you get this adapter? Are you talking about an adapter like Sven4? I tried using that in the past for my carpc but the audio was too low as the head unit acted as a pre-amp... I'm not 100% sure how Porsche is wired, but if you remove the head unit, what will power on the amp?

I ended up relocating the head unit and using an aux for my carpc.

Very interested in seeing your wiring if you don't mind sharing.

Got the GT2RS radio elimination shelf and the stereo wire kit from EuroMotorsport.
I will try another fitment next week. I've been working like crazy (60+ hours a week) and could not get myself to start tinkering with it... but the GT2RS kit will act as a bezel...

It is a great idea, instead of buying a data plan, if you all ready have an iPhones you can share your connection by bluetooth, in that case you would be able to navigate maps, buy songs from iTunes etc everything you need nowadays!

In regards to data I would get a Verizon LTE version and add it to my shared data plan along with my iPhone.

To bad tou can't adjust the size of the icons on the mini. For those with close up vision issues it sure would be nice for an application like this one.

I don't know about the bose but with the correct harness, you shouldn't have a problem.

I finally got to work on the bezel last night. pretty tight! I like it so far....
