I'm still having hard time understanding how are you going to integrate it from your stereo harness to the ipad without using head-units pre-amp. It won't sound as loud as you want it too...

Are you using any other adapters at all?

 

I'm getting a small amp to get the signal stronger from the ipad to the harness. this is a work in progress... I'm getting a low profile Apple Lightning cable done...

This is where I'm right now.
Sounds plays thru the car. Waiting for the iStream and the belking bluetooth. Hooked up with a guy to make ma a custom 90 degree lightning cable...

finished up the bezel and fits like a glove. Love the way the iPad is recessed into the bezel. totally factory looking.

Still to do:
finalizing the cabling, adding everything else and paint the center panels black and the anti glare screen protection in matte finish.

This thing rocks!

Thanks for the kind words. once everything is done and completed, I will do a list... granted, I had to custom make that bezel using the OEM gt2rs radio elimination shelf. that why it fits so good.

I bought replacement home buttons from iPhones... they fit perfectly on the bezel. I will install those and connect to the iPad's home button...

 

Wow!!! Did you get to the OBD + Bluetooth integration yet? Which app would be used for that?

 

Joel that is absolutely awesome! Do you think this set-up could be done in a 996 with Bose Most? I would much rather do this vs a new head.
