Has anyone successfully painted their radio/AC console in their 997.1?
I was thinking it would look much better in black then the silver/gray.

Or perhaps a vinyl kit to cover it?

I'm pretty sure the guys at bumperplugs paint them.

 

Instead of painting or wrapping, why not consider water transfer printing?

There is a bunch of vids on YouTube on the process, which gives a very resilient surface with a huge array of choices beyond what you would have with painting or wrapping. You can even have your existing pieces done to replicate CF if you like without the expense of using actual CF.

Very impressed with the vendors at PCA Escape that had all the different items that had been "water transfer printed". Seems that vitually anything can be done.
I love the video of the guy dipping his bare hand into the vat and coming out with a Carbon Fiber hand!
