Well... might sell the porsche :(

After doing all this work to my baby. I might sell the porsche. I have been wanting to become a helo pilot now for some time. Thought about going back into the army and fly but i kinda want a LIFE so. Might just sell it and then go to school for it.

My issue is. I have done so much work that i know im going to loose money. But its an 06 carrera with heavy mods and great condition, paint and interior. 70k miles. What would be a good price to throw it in at? Any ideas and where to maybe start to sell it? Thanks guys.

Since most of what you have listed as mods on the car seem to be reversible it might be worth the time and effort to get back to close as stock as possible. There is always a market for parts and pieces here and would help recoup at least some of your modification costs (and might make the car easier to sell someone looking for "stock").

Get an education loan from the government and you won't have to sell your Porsche...Do you have a fixed wing license at the moment???

If you were going to sell, you'd be better off going back to stock completely and sell the mods one by one.

Jonhunt is infamous around these parts
I bought a stock 06 C4 recently with 49,000 miles. Paid about $45,000 with CPO...new tires, new brakes. It did have a few options: Bose, exhaust tips, short shifter, spacers, etc. Clear Carfax and flawless paint.

I will say 40k is your best case scenario... with room up or down... a car like yours with that many miles, mods and in that color could be a tough one to move unless you go to a true enthusiast like us that appreciate what you have done. I wish I could've found a car like yours when I got mine...

You can always try a barter with the fought school. Maybe the owner wants a Porsche.

If it was without any mods at these miles $38000 best case for a non S - maybe with the mods $40 I think you MUST sell the mods alone!

You're better off going to stock. There is probably very little market for your car as it sits today.

Yea true.. prob go back to stock or could try to trade it straight up for all the lessons to a school owner or pilot who would just certify me.

dont really want to hit up and loans cause i like my debt free life at the moment lol. im free to just jump out the US and work. We will see. If i get the VA disability ill keep it and just go fly.

Thanks guys though. I think going back to stock or finding someone at a show who loves what i did and has the cash. Just give it to him
