Actually, we did not. That's how these rumors start. We had someone who has a problem with his car and no diagnosis yet.

"I just heard from the dealership. They confirmed that the motor suffered from an IMS failure. I suppose my car was a prime candidate (low miles, rarely driven by previous owner). Recommendation is engine replacement. Now we are just waiting for the warranty people to sign off on the repair after looking at the car."

Nothing on the hesitation was diagnosed. I am going to put injector cleaner in next fill up. The man said can't diagnose it w/o experiencing it while nothing appears to be wrong with the car.

Darth....it took them about 4 visits to find my engine issue and it was only when out of frustration the tech took my car home for the weekend. it happened so intermittently but the issue was still there waiting to be discovered.

Until they tell you what's wrong haunt them about it!
