Sport Chrono.

Are you buying a .1 (thru '08) or .2 ('09+)?

PASM is a must IMO. it comes standard with an S so you are good.

Options I have are:
12 way electric seats w/memory
Supple leather
sport chrono

i'm the only one driving the car. so I feel like the 12 way seats w/ memory are useless to me.

I like supple leather. I believe they tend to wear less.

Sport chrono... love it

I drive a c2s cab and I drive top down even at 40 degrees. so I miss the heated seats.
When I will buy a 997.2 c2s cab, ventilated seats will be a must for me.

2009 is the first .2 (wise choice). PASM is standard. Sport seats are preferred, as is full leather if you can get it. PSE (sport exhaust) is a nice to have. Ceramic brakes would be ideal!! CPO is a must.

IMO, if you are looking at 6 speeds, sports chrono not a must.
I had sport adaptive seats in my MB and always had them off, didn t care for that esp for the money.
You will probably have to do a give and take on a pre owned.
I d be more wanting a CPO car for the peace of mind.

I agree,
CPO is a most!
everything else is nice to have and more your personal opinion.

my next porsche I will absolutly want heated and ventilated seats + sport chrono.
others will simply not care about heated and ventilated seats.

I really enjoyed the switchable sport exhaust option on my 997.2 C4S. Of course many on this website can tell you how to get a more aggressive exhaust note if the car you love does not have PSE.

I loved PSE on my '08 997S. Wish I had it on my current one. Because of not having it, I opted to spend about the same money to replicate it. Not exact, but quite good.
