How many miles are y'all getting on these rear tires? I stopped by he tire shop today because I had a slow leak, and the tire guy measured about 75% treads left (i guessimated about 50%). I have about 10k miles on this set! Are these tires amazing or do I drive like a sissy?

You live in Texas where roads are kind to tires as the aggregate is mostly slippery rock. You'll get double the miles of someone from the east coast where roads are like sandpaper.

I believe there are a lot of contributing factors you haven't touched base on here?Did you repair the leak? What pressure are you running?

Sorry, its a pet peeve of mine.

Tires have TREAD. Tread, tread, tread.

You sew with a needle and THREAD.

Thanks for the clarification. English is my second of three languages.
I was just curious what kind of mileage y'all are getting. I'm not trying to make a declaration of superiority or start a scientific study. My only comparison is PS2 which lasted about 13k miles with manufacturer's recommended pressure of 44 psi cold.

I'm at 10000 mi. and the rears still look good. I'd guess at least 50%.

I like seeing updates to a thread on MPSS tyres. :-)

I am hoping they last a long while. They are the best tires I have ever used. Much better than ps2

Bought mine 13K miles ago. Still have about 6/32 on the rears. Good wear so far, just highway driving with no track days.

I got 8K mi. on the originals when I lived in NYC and they were near slicks when I replaced them. Had no idea they had worn out that fast. Fronts had >50% left.
