maybe off 997 topic but I just came across this on ebay lookin around the 993 section... this is truly a collectible...what more could you ask for in a 993...

WOW! I love 993 Turbo S'. I wish I could buy that car right now. Definitely will be a classic and a collectible (not "collectable").

that is a gem - less than 5K miles! He paid $160K and is looking for $100K eight years later. I paid ~$160K and would kill to get $100K after three years (and that's including $50K in after market stuff!). There is a lot to be said for limited production - the S is very unique, although I don't think it can match the performance of a 996 - it is more of a true sports car. Not forgiving when mistakes are made which is the way it should be.

Yeah, this car has been on eBay a few times, it's not really the crown jewel of TurboSs. The fitment of the front bumper is terrible, it definately has some accident history. If I was in the market for a car of this caliber, I wouldn't bother with anything that's even been so much as dinged in a parking lot.
