I've been extremely satisfied with my GTS, just wanted to hear from any other owners of any possible issues / mods and the results!!

I get too many looks of disbelief. Now I don't know what a porsche owner is supposed to look like to people, but I know people can't believe that I own one.

For example, I often go to dinner at some of the nicer casinos here and when the valet pulls up with my car and I get up to get in, I often hear people around waiting for their cars saying things like "no way" or "are you kidding me?"

I fit the midlife crisis age profile so I'm not sure why they say that. Maybe it's because I'm asian and should be driving a luxury car or japanese car?

Other than that, I love this car. It can be used everyday and almost anywhere, except for taking clients out to look at properties.

I've only used sports plus at the two DE events that I've gone to. Otherwise its grandma or sports mode all the time on the street.

If you have the same kind of Asian genes I do, it might be because you're mid-life but look 16

To fully assess people's disbelief, we need to see pictures of yourself

Do you sell residential real estate? I'm in residential and will always be a little paranoid about running into clients when driving this car on my off hours. Some will appreciate it, and others will think we're making too much money. Mine isn't a GTS (wish it was!), but a C2S Cabrio with black wheels...similar level of visibility.

I hope you've seen a nice turnaround in the LV market considering how hard the city got hit in 2009. I moved to Dallas from Summerlin until 2002 but only kept my place out there until 2004. I can already tell that 2013 will be a great year!

(sorry Mike for the minor hijack...)

I work for the highest grossing per agent boutique agency so it's ok. If I gotta slum it then I use my gfs lexus. Inventory is real bad here. Any decent listing that is not overpriced by a lot will get 20 plus unseen offers on it within a day or two. And the listing agent that I work with has a bentley supersports so I'm the poor one on her team.

very strange how we present ourselves to each other, and then worry about stuff like a 'client' SEEING you out in public living your life????
If they want a Pcar too, they should work a little harder instead of deeming you're to 'wealthy' and "we" should buy our house froma poorer, not as smart man! haha...

I wish it was this easy, but perception means a lot in the real estate business and not everyone sees expensive cars in a positive light. If someone judges me based on a car and thinks I make too much money, then lists a home with someone else because of it, a big potential commission disappears. I know people who live in a $10,000,000 house but have 2 old Mercedes that are only worth $10K each. I have to be somewhat careful with not looking overly flashy or showy...but it hasn't kept me from enjoying the 911 on the side.

I think I see what you mean. My brother in law is a high end real estate guy up in MD.......it's a good business; they're doing well
so how are you liking your CLS? not trading it towards the electric are you?
