Brake Pedal vibrates for split second on 2009 Porsche 997.2

Anyone experience brake petal vibrating for a split second when backing up?

I've taken it to the dealer and they said it may be the brake dust thats causing the split second vibration when backing up. So non of you experienced this in the morning or backing up?

Does it only happen when you start in the morning? Is backing up the *first* thing you do? Does it happen again on the same trip after the first occurance?

Usually only in the morning and its only for a split second. Maybe it has to do with ABS? As i'm backing out in reverse gear it thumps and vibrates for a split second. It doesn't always happens maybe twice a week. You can hear slight thump sound when it does happens. Its fine braking forward.

The reason I asked is that if any moisture is left on rotors and pads containing iron (like mine), they tend to rust together slightly, and you will feel a little shudder as they break apart. Living in the Seattle area where it rains more or less constantly for 8+ months at a time, the only way to avoid it in the winter is to "blow-dry" my rotors and pads every time I park with a leaf blower. This is such a nuisance I never do it, I just put up with the brief shudder. This can also happen if you wash your car without drying the brakes off.

I'm not sure how you can trigger this response in Arizona (where's the water come from?), but that's what it sounded like to me. If so, this is completely normal and covered an various other threads.
