Brake Pedal vibrates for split second on 2009 Porsche 997.2
I've taken it to the dealer and they said it may be the brake dust thats causing the split second vibration when backing up. So non of you experienced this in the morning or backing up?
Does it only happen when you start in the morning? Is backing up the *first* thing you do? Does it happen again on the same trip after the first occurance?
Usually only in the morning and its only for a split second. Maybe it has to do with ABS? As i'm backing out in reverse gear it thumps and vibrates for a split second. It doesn't always happens maybe twice a week. You can hear slight thump sound when it does happens. Its fine braking forward.

I'm not sure how you can trigger this response in Arizona (where's the water come from?), but that's what it sounded like to me. If so, this is completely normal and covered an various other threads.
