Has anyone with 997.2 PDK experience jerky ness between gear 1 & 2??? Some times it jerks when i back out of a parking spot. Is the jerkiness normal on PDKs?

If you lift your foot off the accelerator and then reapply the accelerator when the transmission is changing gears from 1 to 2 you can get the jerk you speak of. Well at least I have experienced it.

Dallas Dave,

I use 91 Premium.

Chaser,
How often you experience the jerkiness?

To be more specific, could be the brand of fuel you are using. My wife was using Kroger gas in her car and I switched her to shell and no more jerkiness or hesitation.

Saw this in a friends truck too when I suggested switching from Walmart gas to a recognized brand - Chevron, Shell, etc. His troubles immediately went away.

Good luck.

Only when I lift my foot from the accelerator and then reapply as the transmission is changing from 1st gear to second gear. I wouldn't describe it as a car malfunction but rather a driver input issue. Perhaps we are speaking of two different issues.
