Another Unique Color

Some of us are very interested in 911s with unusual paint colors. I found this one that I have never seen before. I like it, but then I'm partial to PTS cars. Anyone know what color this is?

Unusual hue. May be a paint to match and not a stock color.

It's definitely a paint-to-sample color. I got the photo off the dealer website where I bought my PTS car. Looks sort of gray-green to me.

Mine is PTS as well (I'd describe it as 'linen' but I'll take guesses...)

There is a non-metallic linen color, but yours looks metallic.

It looks like a Petrol Blue. I had a 911SC Euro for many years and it reminds me of that color. The funny thing was depending on the lighting the color appeared lighter or darker.

How about this? Looks a lot like yours and is called Linen Grey.

This is what the non-metallic linen looks like.

The Linen Grey does look a lot like mine (the matte linen looks much lighter). I think mine is a shade darker than the Linen Grey.

All I know is: if I want a chip touched up, it is a PITA. My paint shop called Porsche and they confirmed it was a non-listed PTS color. So he had to use a color analyzer and custom order the paint...

PTS is a double-edged sword. I wish it was something standard like macadamia...

PVANOSTA, Macadamia is a cool color, but do you really wish you had not bought the PTS? I think it's unique and beautiful.

Hmm, it does look a bit like Petrol Blue. Here's a pic.

Thanks Volnomad. It is a beautiful color combo (see more pics attached).
I bought it because I liked it, not fully understanding the implications of PTS.

Oh well

Well, exactly. You bought what you really wanted. At these prices, it's crazy to do otherwise!

Your cocoa interior complements the color perfectly.
