First Long Drive after lowered with Eibachs

Had my car lowered with Eibach springs last month and it looks perfect. I mostly drive around town (Santa Monica, West LA etc).

Took a drive to the desert this weekend and I bottomed out EVERYWHERE included the 10 freeway in the IE. I had to pull over to smack a part of the front bumper underside back up into the car as it was dragging and cracked. WTF...

Also the ride wasn't smooth like I remember it. I felt all the imperfections and bumps in the road. Wasn't comfortable going over 90 mph.

Any of you other guys with lowered suspensions feel this?

I have H&Rs and I never have these issues.

Handling is great at top speeds and I don't bottom out unless its a bad dip in the road.

I have H&R's and AeroKit . Lip is a nightmare but you get used to what you can go over and learn how to move around other things.

I have never bottomed out, FL roads are V Bad and that has never happened :-(

I have the GT3 front bumper with the cup spoiler, which is a bit more aggressive, and I have to be careful too but I have no issues with bottoming out..

no problem what-so-ever driving in southern Cal

no problem on the tracks

no problem at speeds up to 160

the ride stiffness is comparable to oem springs

perhaps ur shocks are shot ?

I had the Eibach Pro Kit installed today. Getting a four corner alignment in the morning. Will pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Don't anticipate any problems but I will let you know

No problem with bottoming out with my 997.2 4S on Techart springs by Eibach. Ride doesn't feel much different from the stock springs.

Check and see if your springs are seated correctly in the sockets, otherwise, your struts maybe at the end of their lifetime. Do you notice an uneven ride height?

It does sound like the shocks are gone. Do you have PASM? I read some forum post that aftermarket lowering springs can damage PASM.
