I'm looking to do the Gundo Hack and live in the SoCal area. Looking for somebody who's done it before and could refer me to his/her muffler place.

 

If you closer to OC, go see Chris at Grand Auto Works. If you are closer to say LA or Hollywood I may have a welder for you. I did mine myself but had the welder did the pipe welding. PM me if you like.

 

Hi Slick, I live closer to LA so I can use a welder in LA. When you say, you did yours yourself, you mean you uninstall/install the exhaust? How much involved is it?

Correct. I did the uninstall/install by myself. I had too much time I guess. It's really easier than most might think. I think it took me two hours tops. The longest part was waiting for the welding which can be up to 4 hours depends on how busy he is. I did a DIY on that process. Jut search my threads. It was done on a 997.2 though. FYI. Welder is in Santa Clarita (about where the 5 and 14 meets)

 

Go see Chris of Grand Auto Works. Some other member here have used Chris and was pleased.
